LRT Oct 2012

Wah .. dah lama sungguh aku tak buat entri about servis Rapid KL terutamanya Putra LRT yang menjadi medium pengangkutan utama aku. Sejak aku jadi part time student ni, banyak perkara yang aku nak tulis di blog tak menjadi. Asal nak taip je, idea tu hilang. Maklumlah, wat assignment dah menjadi keutamaan..(wahahhahaha...ala2 top student cakap nih)..

Oktober 2012, warga KL menjadi trauma apabila terpaksa mendengar announcement dalam tren 'terdapat kesesakan di platform hadapan.... tren akan bergerak perlahan dan berhenti lebih lama di stesen'............ Bukan sekali tapi berkali2 dalam tren yang sangat padat bersendat2.

Hari pertama Putra ROSAK, ramai staf sampai lambat sebab tersangkut lama dalam tren atau kat stesen. Semua orang geram & bengang je.. bila nak kutuk kaw2 kat wall Rapid tak boleh.. mesti RapidKL dah disable so orang tak dapat la nak post kat dorang punya wall.


Kelana Jaya LRT Line operations on degraded mode

RapidKL’s Kelana Jaya Line LRT’s operations for the Jelatek - Sri Rampai stretch has to opt for a degraded mode, where the trains are manually driven, following a technical hiccup in the signaling system.
Subsequently, the LRT service along this stretch is slow as the service has to be undertaken under a manual mode. A total of 29 four-car trains were deployed but the service remains slow and the crowd still have to wait longer to enter a train.
The technical hiccup situation arises following an exercise to remove an obsolete part of a signaling system as advised by a signaling system contractor appointed by RapidKL.
The exercise, which started at 12am this morning and supervised by the signaling system contractor, encountered unexpected difficulties at 4:00am which disrupted the Automatic Train Operation System for the line.
The system is back to normal at 12:27pm today. RapidKL regrets any inconvenience arising from the situation.
